Newport Pictures

After a year of Richard using my computer for work, I finally got it back! Since he saves all of our pictures on my computer it will be so much easier for me to post them now. These pictures were taken about 3 months ago at Newport beach, courtesy of Allison Harris Photography.

This next one is my favorite...click on it and you will see why.

Thanks Al! You are so talented and we had a blast!

I know, I promise I will post pictures of Bella, but since I don't have anything besides her to post about, I thought I would do movie reviews.  If you didn't already know, I love to watch movies...and since we recently got a 'Clearplay' we can see a lot more without waiting for them to come on TV.  Here are some I have recently seen:

P.S. I Love You

Sorry Lindsey, I know you hated it, but I loved it.  Although this movie is more sad than any I have seen and I was crying during the entire thing, it is also really funny, sweet, and makes you think a lot about what you're doing with your life and how you act towards those around you.

Revolutionary Road

One of the worst movies ever.  The acting was really great, but the content was atrocious, even when edited.  Since it had been nominated for a few academy awards and the previews made it look like a good movie about working through your life problems... whatever.  If you're looking for a movie about affairs, abortion, and suicide (sorry to spoil), here you go.

Body of Lies

This movie was actually pretty cool.  It reminded me a lot of Spy Game and was just a good ol' spy movie.

Defiance

This movie was good... but to me it was a bit boring.  It is about some brothers who help hide thousands of Jews in the woods during the holocaust.  It does have hottie James Bond and also the strumpet (Arnold, Arnold) in it.

Baby Bella

I thought I would just put up some cute pictures of baby Bella. This one is before church one Sunday...

And this is the result we usually get after going to church...

Eat time is usually pretty funny. She often insists on holding the spoon.

We have a rule that you can't have a drink in front of Bella... Jen's family has the similar rule that 'you show it, you share it'

Saturday we decided to take Bella to the Zoo for the first time. We looked at the elephants for a really long time, but the fence under Bella's feet was apparently much more interesting than the exotic animals behind them.
Behind Richard there is another fence which captured Bella's undivided attention. Oh, and there are some black bears too.

We went with Bella's Grandma Kimball.
After the zoo we went over to see Marme and Par. This picture is right before Bella destroyed those pretty flowers Par was showing her. Par also showed her the initials that we all carved in the tree behind them.

After Marme and Par's house, we completed the grandparent round with Mimi and Ed. Bella loves to see them because they always bounce her on the giant exercise ball. Needless to say, she was so tired by the end of the day that she was laughing harder than we had ever heard. The moment we were in the car she fell asleep. What a fun day.

Well, I'm not very good at this, but my family keeps telling me that we need a blog, so here it is. I'll try to actually use it every once in a while.
